Björk sweater by Önling, No 1 knitting kit

Yarn kit for Björk icelandic pullover sweater, a redesigned interpretation of a classic Icelandic sweater. The sweater is super feminine and somewhat fitted to the body.

The sweater in this kit is knitted in our own super soft and sustainable yarn Önling No 1, 75% Merino Superfine wool and 25% Angora.
The sweater kan also be made in our Önling No 2, 100% merino, or Isager Jensen and Tvinni 100% wool, see related products below.

Önling No 1, 75% Merino Superfine wool and 25% Angora, 180m per 50g.

Recommended circular needle and double-pointed needles size 3,5 mm and 4,5 mm / US 4 and 7.

1 stitch marker.

Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rows in stockinette stitch and in pattern on a 4,5 mm / US7 circular needles = 10 x 10 cm.

Directions
The sweater is worked top down and in the round. The yoke is worked a color pattern and with increases in the pattern. After the yoke, the work is split into body and sleeves, which are finished separately.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.

- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
