Knitting kit for Ellinor cozy slippers
The design of these delightful, cozy slippers is inspired by old slipper traditions with the addition of new design elements, and this combination has resulted in a novel, practical slipper that feels like a dream. The slippers are made of two strands of yarn held together; one a washable and durable blend of wool and polyester and the other a Silk Mohair yarn, which combined ensure a strong, soft, and comfortable slipper.
The Cozy slippers will keep your feet pleasantly warm during the cold winter months. They will also make a wonderful present, either as a hostess gift or as a Christmas present to a loved one.

Length (22)24(26) cm / (8.7)9.5(10.2) inches
Materials:
Önling No. 18, 75% wool and 25% polyester from recycled PET bottles,100 g = 459 yrds/ 420 m
Önling No. 10, 70% Super Kid Mohair and 30% Silk, 25 g approx. 210 m.
Color A: Önling No. 18 = 70 g
Color B: Önling No. 10 = 30 g
The slippers are worked all the way through with one strand of Color A and one strand of Color B held together.
Recommended needles:
32-inch circular needle size 3,5 mm / US 4 for Magic Loop, or same size double-pointed needles.
Gauge:
24 sts x 32 rows in stockinette on needles size 3,5 mm / US
4 = 10x10 cm / 4x4 inches
Procedure:
The slipper is worked in seed stitch from the heel to the instep, and then continued according to the diagram down to the tip of the toes. The slipper is easily knit, and the finishing is simple with only few ends to weave in.

If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
