Becky is made in Önling No 1, our own soft and sustainable merino wool and angora yarn, combined with a light Silk Mohair. The silk mohair is either from Mohair by Canard or Önling, depending on the colour. This gives a warm and soft cardigan that is knitted at a large needle size.
Originally Becky is knitted in a combination of Isager Highland Silk, Isager Alpaca 2 and Isager Spinni, This gives a warm and soft cardigan, in melange nuances. See this version and related products below.

The kit does not include snap buttons. These can be purchased separately, see related products here below.

Gauge:
17 sts and 14 garter ridges (28 rows) on a 5 mm / US 8 circular needle = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.
17 sts and 22 rows in Pattern B on a 5,5 mm / US 9 circular needle = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.
Directions for knitting
The cardigan is worked from the bottom up. The body is worked back and forth to the armholes, where the work is split and each part is finished separately. The sleeves are worked from the bottom up, back and forth.

If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
