Inspired to knit
I am an intern at Önling. I am 21 years old and trained tailor. I'm pretty new to knitting, but I've set myself a goal to learn to knit some really nice sweaters, which will become a key part of my wardrobe.

The first time I knit was with my grandmother. This was 8 years ago, and I have actually not really been knitting since. But now I've started again, because I've been so tempted by all the lovely yarns and colors here at Önling. And the thought of making my own sweaters according to my own ideas, inspires me. I'm a big fan of warm sweater; there's just nothing better when it gets a bit chilly, than pulling a nice warm sweater on. My wardrobe is not complete without warm, soft sweaters – they are super practical, as they can be used both on a cold summer evening and on cold winter days.
I have fallen in love with the delicious yarn Silk Mohair, Lamana Premia and Önling No 1. This yarn will definitely fit perfectly for some of the sweaters, that I've found on Pinterest and that I aspire to knit! I have been inspired by the lovely patterns, and the slight oversize fit. I imagine knitting them in a color like white, light gray or a delicate green. Besides that, I have also decided to knit a Magnum and maybe the new sweater from Önling, called Madicken.
What I really like about knitting is, that it completely relaxes me. It takes my mind off everything else than this particular knitting project, and it has a de-stressing effect.
I was very surprised that knitting would have such a big impact on me, and when I started, I obviously did not expect that I would be so into it. It sometimes feels like my fingers are itching to get back to my knitting project! It is just so addictive, and I can only say that if you have not tried knitting yet, I would definitely recommend it.
