Cozy fall with clothes you can snug into...
After an unusually long and warm Danish summer, it’s about time to adjust to fall weather. The shadows are growing longer, the morning air is crisp, and the rain is dripping on us more and more frequently. I will show you my fall favorites from Önling in this blog post, which will surely get me safely, stylish and, not least, warm through the next three months.
As much as I love the spring with its sprouting new life and the summer, which lets us walk barefoot in the grass and keep doors and windows wide open, I equally love the chilly fall that dresses town and countryside in the most beautiful, golden colors. This is when we snug up in our couch with our knitting and a warm cup of tea, this is when we wear our soft, cozy clothes, and this is when we go looking for chestnuts with our kids.
I have here gathered a selection of my fall favorites from Önling. Some of these items you can enjoy knitting yourselves, and others are ready to wear. And then I will give you a sneak peak of the extraordinarily soft, cozy set made of 100% cashmere, that will very soon be available at the web shop.
The fall is for chunky and cozy knits
Knitting is always a good idea, if you ask me – year-round. During the fall I’m particularly a fan of long, soft cardigans and oversize sweaters that you can wrap around you. It’s also during this season that I look for chunky knitwear, that can be knitted at large needles.
Aud cardigan. So beautiful and elegant with its narrow, long cut and lots of coolness from the dip-dye effect. Aud is perfect right now as a jacket, or later in the year as an indoor cardigan.
Do you know the pants that you love to get into as soon as you arrive home after a long day at work? That soft set of clothes that is never tight, but just is…? The Anna sweatpants from Önling in wool and cashmere, are the epitome of luxurious sweatpants, and they are even so stylish that you can wear them as office wear with the right top or maybe even a pair of heels. Soft as butter. Uhmmm. The Anna series also brings different tops and blouses with and without lace.
Give your body a hug
Let’s stay in the category of cozy clothes. Now we’re at the revelation of the new cashmere set. As mentioned, these items are made of 100% cashmere of the finest quality. The collection consists of pants, turtleneck and hoodie with zipper, and no matter which one you choose to wear, it feels like giving your body a big, soft hug. Finally, I want to highlight a big and chunky knit, that I’m very much in love with – Thorhild’s cable. Thorhild’s cable is a one-size sweater knitted in Isager Aran Tweed and Silk Mohair, with a lovely broad rib at the v-neck, and cables at body and sleeves.

The beautiful crochet glass warmers made in Isager Tvinni have long been in my sight, but as I'm not yet very adept in the art of crochet, I haven't started that project yet.
