Knitting kit for Mariager cape/vest in Önling No 2
Mariager vest is an absolute classic from Hanne Falkenberg and one of her most loved designs! Use it as a cape, a sleeve-less cardigan or a colorfull vest - the options are endless. Here it is worked in our own Önling No 2, which gives it a soft and comfy look.
The knitting kit contains: Yarn for the selected size and a pattern.

Width under the sleeve: 124 (132) 140 cm
Total length: 70 (74) 76 cm
Materials:
Önling No 2, 100% Merino Superfine Super 100s Wool, 25 g = approximately 120m
Base color: 225(250)275 g (Off white (73, grigio))
Contrast color: 200(225)250 g (Dark grey (3563, grigio 3))
Gauge: 25 sts og 50 rows in garter stitch on ndl 3 mm = 10 x 10 cm
Worked with one thread throughout.
Suggested needles: Circular ndls 3 mm or 3½ mm, length 80 cm. One 3½ mm ndl for casting on.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
