Knitting kit for Ellinor cozy slippers in Önling No 18
The design of these delightful, cozy slippers is inspired by old slipper traditions with the addition of new design elements, and this combination has resulted in a novel, practical slipper that feels like a dream. The slippers are made of two strands of yarn held together of a washable and durable blend of wool and polyester which ensures a strong, soft, and comfortable slipper.
The Cozy slippers will keep your feet pleasantly warm during the cold winter months. They will also make a wonderful present, either as a hostess gift or as a Christmas present to a loved one.

Materials:
Önling No. 18, 75% wool and 25% polyester from recycled PET bottles,100 g = 459 yrds/ 420 m
Önling No. 10, 70% Super Kid Mohair and 30% Silk, 25 g approx. 210 m.
Color A: Önling No. 18 = 80-100 g
The slippers are worked all the way through with two strands of Color A held together.
Recommended needles:
32-inch circular needle size 3,5 mm / US 4 for Magic Loop, or same size double-pointed needles.
Gauge:
24 sts x 32 rows in stockinette on needles size 3,5 mm / US
4 = 10x10 cm / 4x4 inches
Procedure:
The slipper is worked in seed stitch from the heel to the instep, and then continued according to the diagram down to the tip of the toes. The slipper is easily knit, and the finishing is simple with only few ends to weave in.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
