Yarn kit for Busan sweater by Aegyo Knit in Önling No 1 + Silk Mohair (excl pattern)

Busan is a chunky yet light sweater. Busan is a soft, elegant and wearable friend for every season with its classic look and wide signature cable. It has raglan details, double ribbing, a cable, and short rows under the armholes and at the bottom of the body to create the perfect oversized shape. It is worked from the top down.

We knit Busan sweater in our luxurious yarn Önling No 1 and silk mohair combination emphasizing the feminine and classic look of the sweater.

This kit contains: Önling No 1 and Önling No 10 Yarn for the selected size and color (pattern is not included)

Measurements
Bust circumference, measured on finished sweater: 117 (126) 131 (140) cm / 46 (49.6) 51.5 (55.1) ″

Please note that the width of the finished sweater does not correlate with the gauge and number of stitches as the cable makes the fabric contract. This reduces the excess width by up to 15 cm / 5.9 “ in relation to the specified knitting gauge and number of stitches.

Length from neck to hem (incl. ribbing): 65 (67) 68 (70) cm / 25.5 (26.3) 26.7 (27.5) ″

The model in the photos is wearing a size 1, is 160 cm / 5’2″ tall and has a bust measurement of 78 cm / 30.7″, giving her a positive ease of 39 cm / 15.3 ″. It is recommended to have a minimum of 10 cm / 3.94" and maximum 45 cm / 17.72" in positive ease, so make sure to measure yourself before choosing size.

Materials:
This kit does not contain the original yarn used by Aegyo Knit, but carefully selected yarn that matches the gauge

400 (450) 500 (550) g Önling No 1, 75% Merino Superfine Super 100s Wool and 25% Angora, 50 g = 197 yards (180 m) pr. 50 g

Held together with

175 (175) 225 (225) g Önling No 10, 70% mohair and 30% silk, 25 g = approximately 230 yards (210 meters).

You work with 2 strands held together throughout 

Recommended needles:
3 mm (40 - 60 cm) / 2.5 (16-24″ circular needle)
5 mm (40 cm, 60 cm and 80 cm) / US 8 (16, 24 and 32″ circular needles

Gauge: 16 sts x 25 rows of stockinette on 5 mm / US 8 needle = 10 x 10 cm / 4″ after washing and blocking

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a knitting kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:

If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
