Yarn kit for these soft, beautiful Eloise mittens, knitted in our lovely yarn No 2 from Önling, 100% merino wool. These mittens are made in a simple pattern that is easy to knit - as you only knit with one color at a time. The pattern includes two sizes, both for a small and a large woman's hand. This yarn kit includes enough yarn that you can knit gloves for your friends as well!

Length incl. garter rib edge: 26 (28) cm / 10,2 (11) inches.
Materials:
75 g Önling No 2, 100% Supersoft merino wool, 120 m per 25 g.
Color A: 15 g Dark grey (3563)
Color B: 10 g Peach (019)
Color C: 10 g Olive (106)
Work with one strand throughout the work.
Guiding double pointed needles size 3,5mm and 4mm / US 4 and 6.
1 Meter accompanying thread in a contrasting color.
1 stitch marker.
Gauge:
24 sts and 48 rows (24 knit ridges) in garter st on needle size 3,5mm / US 4 = 10 x 10 cm / 4x4 inches.
Directions:
The mittens are knitted in the round from the wrist and upwards. First knit the garter rib edge with one color and then continue in stockinette st. Stitches are placed aside for the thumb and the mittens are finished. Finally, the stitches that were set aside for the thumb are placed in the needles again, and the thumb is knitted in reverse stockinette.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
