Knitting kit for Tide Loop Top by Other Loops in Önling No 14 (excl pattern)
Tide Loop Top is a top with an organic structure inspired by sand ripples on the seabed, which become visible after the outgoing loop of the tidal wave. The beautiful change gives a light breeze and is naturally elegant.
Here we knit Tide Loop Top in Önling No 14, our lovely summer yarn made from natural fibres. The yarn has great temperature regulation, is very soft, light and feels gentle on the skin.
This kit contains: Önling No 14 for the selected size and color (pattern is not included)
PLEASE NOTE:
- This kit does not include a pattern. You can buy the pattern at otherloops.com
- The model shown in the pictures on this page is the designers own and NOT worked in Önling yarns.

Procedure:
The top is knitted top down. First, the shoulders are knitted separately with increases towards the neckline. The two shoulders are joined on the front by casting on stitches. Continue knitting flat while also working increases for the arm holes. On back, the two shoulders are knitted separately with increases towards the neckline, and then joined to form the back. The back is knitted flat while also working increases for the arm holes. The body is joined and knitted in the round. To reduce the number of purl stitches, turn the work so that the body is knitted from the wrong side. The pattern structure is knitted according to the chart on all parts of Tide_loop_top. Finally, pick up stitches along the neckline and arm hole and knit in the round in stockinette stitch.
Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
