Easy Peasy is Önling’s range of basic knitting patterns, made in a Nordic design and written in a simple, beginner-friendly language – without any abbreviations.
This lovely summer T-shirt with pretty details in both rib hems and raglan seams can be used all summer. We have knitted ours in light summer yarn, but you may also use wool yarns and use it all year round. The fit is ’oversize, i.e., with a positive ease of 10-15 cm / 4-6 inches, the body is rather short with standard armhole height and wide, short or long, sleeves finished with a rib hem. The length of both body and sleeves may easily be adjusted to design your very own version of the T-shirt.
Here we knit Easy Peasy Summer t-shirt in Önling No 14, the best choice for summer knitting. The yarn is made of 100% TENCEL Lyocell and is temperature-regulating. It has a slightly shiny surface, is incredibly soft and feels absolutely fantastic against the bare skin.

You work with 1 strand throughout
Suggested needles:
3 mm, 80 cm and 40 cm length
3,5 mm, 80 cm and 40 cm length
Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rows in stockinette stitch on ndl 3,5 mm / US 4 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches
Procedure
The T-shirt is worked from the top down, increasing at the 4 raglan stitches. This will enable you to try on the T-shirt as you go and adjust it to fit you perfectly. It is worked
in the round in stockinette stitch. The yoke stitches are then divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately.

The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.

In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:
If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
