Strikkekit til Hansel sjal (half version) af Gudrun Johnston i Önling No 20
Please note! This pattern is in English
A ‘Hansel’ is a gift to mark a special occasion, such as the birth of a baby.
"I met Gudrun Johnston on her Half Shawl course on Vouge Knitting Live in New York 2019. We knitted a test for exactly this shawl, and heard the background for it, her affilliation with Shetland and about the Shetlands islands traditional knit. I immediately bought yarn for the shawl, and today the shawl is almost finished, only missing the edges. I'm knitting it in a full version with the most amazing cashmere and wool yarn from Northern Light Fibers. Im definetly going to knit the Half version as scarf in both Önling No 1 and Önling No 20." - says Katrine Hannibal.
The pattern is included in the knitting kit. The pattern is sent manually as a digital fine, when the order is process.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
