Knitting kit for Terrazzo Slipover from PetiteKnit in Önling No 1 + Önling No 10 silk mohair
Terrazzo Slipover is worked from the top down.
First the back section of the yoke is worked, then the shoulders, which are joined to form the front section of the yoke.
The back and front and joined at the bottom of the armholes to form the body, which is worked in the round to the hem, which has a slit at each side.
At the end rib armhole edges are worked, as well a turtleneck from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neck opening. The rib edges are worked as twisted rib, to create a very defined rib pattern.

Gauge:17 sts x 27 rows in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after wash and blocking (Note that the recommended yarn expand when washed, making it very important that you wash and block your swatch before measuring for gauge)
22 sts x 24 rows in twisted rib (k1 tbl, p1 tbl) on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after wash and blocking (gauge for turtleneck collar)
Knitted with two threads throughout.
Needles:Circular needle: 4 mm, 40, 60 and 80 or 100 cm

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
