Knitting kit for Tanne Top by Anne Ventzel
TANNE TOP is a soft top with short sleeves, worked from the top down. An Italian cast-on is worked at the neck edge, which is followed by a twisted rib edge and a circular yoke worked in a charted stranded pattern. Short rows are worked before the yoke is divided into body and sleeves to create roominess and a good fit.
The stranded pattern is worked from the front only, so this design is a good project for a knitter without much experience with stranded knitting.
If you would like a slightly less advanced project, the Italian cast-on can be replaced by a regular long-tail cast-on. Just take care not to cast on too tightly. The Italian bind-off can also be replaced by a regular bind-off.
This yarn kit contains: Önling No 15 and No 10 for the selected size and a digital pattern in English, German and Swedish..

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
