Knitting kit for REVERSE LOOP SWEATER by Other Loops
REVERSE LOOP SWEATER is a slightly A-shaped, oversize sweater. The top part of the body is worked in a purl-structured pattern, and the bottom part of the body and the sleeves are worked in stockinette. The shoulder features a purl stitch detail that continues along the armhole and forms a border along the side of the body.
The sweater is designed by talented Maja Kløvdal aka @otherloops and you can work it in several different yarn alternatives for a slightly different look and feel. The yellow, blue and grey models are knitted in Önling No 2 + Önling No 21 for a light and slightly crisp feeling. The copper/white coloured model is knitted in Önling No 10 + Önling No 15 for a classic, soft feel.
This yarn kit contains: Yarn for the selected size and a digital pattern.

Recommended needle sizes:
Circular needles size 4.5 mm, 4 mm, and 3.5 mm / US 7, 6, and 4 (40 and 80 or 100 cm / 16 and 32 or 40 inches).
Gauge: 19 sts x 32 rows in stockinette stitch on needle size 4.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm
The sweater is worked top down. First, stitches are cast on for the back of the neck, which is then continued back and forth with increases to shape the top part of the back panel. The increases are worked to create an eyelet pattern along the edge of the shoulder.
Following that, stitches are picked up along the shoulder seam, and the shoulders are worked individually back and forth. The 2 shoulders are then joined by casting
on stitches to form the front panel. The front and back panels are then joined, and the body worked in the round on a circular needle. Short rows are worked on
the body where the stitch pattern changes from reverse stockinette to stockinette, to reduce the number of purl stitches that need to be worked. The body is finished with a wide border of purl stitch.
Neckline stitches are picked up and worked in rib stitch. The neck hem is folded double and knitted down. Finally, sleeve stitches are picked up from the armholes and worked in the round. Short rows are worked where the stitch pattern structure changes, and the sleeves are finished with a wide border of purl stitch, as on the body.
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state LOT number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
