Knitting Kit for Ger∂ur Islandsk Sweater Knit-Along in Önling No 3 (EXCL pattern color)
"Ger∂ur" is an Icelandic-inspired sweater featuring a pretty feminine flower pattern, decorative fair-isle details and a slightly oversize design.
Here we knit Ger∂ur sweater in our exquisite Önling No 3, a soft 100% organic merino wool yarn. In this knitting kit you get a digital pattern and yarn for the base color of the sweater. This means that you need to add the pattern color yourself from your own scrap stash. It can be 2-3 strands of silk mohair held together, resulting in a unique colorplay, or 1 strand DK / Worsted weight yarn corresponding to Önling No 3 in thickness.
Designed by Katrine Hannibal for Önling.
The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
