Knitting pattern for Aranami shawl by Olga Jazzy
Aranami 荒波 (Japanese)- (n) stormy seas, raging waves
'Color and pattern of this shawl reminded me of a winter ocean with foamy raging waves on the surface. Poor weather and dark skies reflecting in the ocean add to the color and make the line of the horizon intermixed with various shades of grey.'

"I met Olga Jazzy for the first time many years ago at a course with Isager at Tversted Skole. Olga is from Belarus, but has lived in the US for nearly 20 years. She has a completely special ability to design the most wonderful and thought through designs. She can devise designs and methods as no one I've ever met. She lives to teach, design patterns and publish books." , says Katrine Hannibal.
