Knitting kit for TWIST LOOP TOP from Other Loops in Önling No 11

Twist Loop is a classic, rib knitted tank top with an elegant cable detail on the front. It has a unique expression with very elegant details that makes for a very satisfying knitting project.

Twist loop top is designed by Danish Maja Kløvdal aka @otherloops and is knitted in Önling No 11(90% Superfine Merino Wool, 10% Cashmere). No 11 is a very soft and light yarn that gives the top a sharp expression. The ribbed texture stays crisp and clear in use and the top will keep its shape over time.

The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. You will also receive an e-mail with a link to your pattern, and the pattern will be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-) Read more about digital knitting patterns here

Recommended needles:
3 mm / US 2.5 circular needle (60 or 80 cm / 24 or 32 inches) and 2.5 mm / US 1.5 circular needle (40 cm / 16 inches)
Cable needle / spare needle.

Gauge:
32 sts x 42 rows/rounds of rib stitch (k3, p2) on needle size 3 mm / US 2.5 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches after washing and blocking.

Knitting process:
The top is worked top-down in rib stitch. First, the shoulders are worked individually with increases toward the neck. The 2 shoulder panels are joined to form a front panel by casting on stitches at the front. The front panel is worked back and forth with cables and increasing for armholes. The back shoulders are worked individually with increases toward the neck. The 2 back shoulder panels are joined to form the back panel by casting on stitches at the back of the neck. The back panel is then worked back and forth in rib stitch with increases for armholes. The front and back panels are then joined, and the body is worked in the round in rib stitch and front cable pattern.

Stitches are picked up from the neck opening and worked in rib stitch; the neck hem is folded double and knitted down. Finally, stitches are picked up from the armhole and closed with an I-cord edge.

Please note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state LOT number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.

- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
