Knitting kit for Roku hat by Olga Jazzy in Önling No 1

ROKU (jap.) 肋 - ribs, rib cage

This hat was thoroughly developed in a quest for a perfectly ribbed beanie, one that would suit anyone - man, woman or child. With smart crown shaping texture that can be easily worn with either side as public for it's clean minimalistic lines are well preserved thanks to attention to details. Work it longer for a sizeable foldover brim, to make your hat warmer and a true fisherman's style beanie, or dress is up with a veriety of options by utilizing your yarn leftovers and implementing additional accessories to jazz it up.

"I met Olga Jazzy for the first time many years ago at a course with Isager at Tversted Skole. Olga is from Belarus, but has lived in the US for nearly 20 years. She has a completely special ability to design the most wonderful and thought through designs. She can devise designs and methods as no one I've ever met. ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.

- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
