At Önling we are truly inspired by the Nordic knitting tradition and in our latest knitting box, we are celebrating this tradition by launching 2 brand new designs inspired by the Faroe Islands and Iceland.

The luxury version of the Nordic knitting box contains:
- 2 brand new patterns, that are released exclusively with this box. Gerdur" is a beautiful Icelandic sweater with a feminine floral-inspired pattern, purl stitch details that provides 3-dimensional effects and a slightly oversize design. "Gudrun" is a modern interpretation of a Faroese sweater. The classic design has been given a new twist, which together with the slightly boxy fit and deep armholes, gives the sweater a modern look.
- 7 balls of Önling's own, exclusive No 1 yarn, which is a lovely, soft combination of merino wool and angora. The starting price is $109 and includes yarn for sizes XS-S. If you want to knit a bigger size, the price of the box will increase accordingly.
- Either pattern can be knitted with the yarn in the box, the only difficulty is choosing which model to knit.
- Furthermore you get 4 lovely knitting-related gifts with this knitting box plus a handy tote for transporting your knitting project. The gifts are specifically selected selected for our knitting boxes and have a total value of 39$. Please note that the gifts are not necessarily the same as shown on photos.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
